Today's encouragement post is written by Jean Denton. Jean, who is named after the matriarch of The Girls, Jean Carter, is the cousin of Tricia, Marsha, and Nancy. Born and raised in New Jersey, she moved to Tennessee as an older teen. Although we have known and loved her throughout her entire life, God used the pregnancy of her youngest child, Isabella Grace, to help us develop an even closer relationship with her and all of her kids. Today, she lives with her husband, Parrish, her teenage son, Mike, and her daughter Isabella in Spring Hill, TN. Her oldest son, EJ, is married and lives with his wife in Murfreesboro, TN. Read her word of encouragement below.

Through this tough time of quarantine, you have to rely on your faith. You need to count your daily blessings that the Lord gives you. Unfortunately, too many times we don’t always see them clearly.

I have been blessed with a job that I can work from home. If I wasn’t able to work during this time, there’s no telling where my family would be. Of course, sometimes it gets to be a bit much being isolated from all my family and friends. But then I have to think I am healthy, and no one in my family has this deadly virus.

So, let your faith give you encouragement. Just know that if you believe in Jesus that He will bring you through these dark times. I know there are days when I’m at my breaking point, especially when its is cold and raining. Then, I pray for brighter days, and, don’t you know it, the next day it’s a beautiful, warm, sunny day. Let your faith be your encouragement. It has been for me!
